VIDEO: Ebony Frelix '91 Speaks at International Women's Day Assembly

On International Women's Day (March 8), Burke's joined with millions celebrating around the world with a packed program led by our own students, as well as one alumna.

Burke's girls led the mindfulness moment, offered speeches about feminism and the Nobel Prize-winning Marie Curie, showed off their own short film about the media's beauty standards — and delivered the keynote address.

Burke's alumna Ebony Frelix '91, who turned an early career in programming into becoming Salesforce.org's Senior Vice President of Philanthropy & Engagement, spoke about her time as a student as well as the importance of giving back to the community.
