CONNECTING POINTS: The Show That Just Adds Up!

Congratulations to our fourth graders for a wonderful performance on the new Campus Center Stage!

CONNECTING POINTS: The Show That Just Adds Up! tells the stories of Katherine G. Johnson, an American mathematician whose calculations of orbital mechanics as a NASA employee were critical to the success of the first and subsequent U.S. crewed spaceflights, and Maryam Mirzakhani, the first woman, Iranian, and Muslim to win the Fields Medal (described as the mathematician’s Noble Prize.)

Both of these inspiring women exemplify Burke’s vision for our students to develop an adventurous intellect, build the confidence to achieve their ambitions, and become leaders in their communities. Click here for more pictures!
