Benicia Gantner '84

President of the Parents' Association
Benicia Gantner '84 is the President of the Parents' Association and the parent of three current Burke’s students: Lucy ’20, Maren ’26, and Roya ’26. A practicing artist, Gantner has exhibited widely in the United States, including recent local shows in Berkeley and Palo Alto. Gantner has been commissioned to make site-specific work by the Oakland Museum of California and the San Jose Museum of Art, and her work is included in the collections of the San Francisco Fine Arts Museums, the San Jose Museum of Art, and the Crocker Art Museum, as well as numerous private and corporate collections. Gantner received her M.F.A. from Cranbrook Academy of Art and her B.A. from Bowdoin College.

In addition to her role as President of the Parents' Association, Benicia serves on the
Advancement and Equity and Inclusion Committees.
