Basic Information

Welcoming our incoming Ks in a meaningful way is a must for us! Seedlings will be offered online with some adjusted days and times during the weeks of June 22-26 (afternoon option) & June 29-July 3 (morning option). We'll offer a fun welcoming camp in small groups with ukulele songs, simple crafts and movement, along with a chance for the Ks to share with each other.

  • For Burke's students entering Kindergarten!

  • Parents may now register for both weeks of Seedlings! Confirmation e-mails will include specially assigned small groups for the Seedlings to meet each other. 

    • June 22-26 (Afternoon Sessions Only) Half-Hour Sessions assigned between 1:00 & 3:30
    • June 29-July 3 (Morning Sessions Only) Half-Hour Sessions assigned between 9:00 & 11:30
    • Specific times for your child's small group session will be e-mailed by June 1 along with Zoom links. 

About the Program

Burke’s SEEDLINGS Summer Camp is a special opportunity for incoming kindergarteners to get to know each other and their new Burke’s community. We will build new friendships through music, storytime, crafts movement!

About the Camp Team

Cyndera Quackenbush is the Director of After-School Programs at Burke’s. She previously worked as the Associate Director of Extended Day and Co-Curricular Activities at Hamlin, and she also founded Story Through Stone, an organization that champions storytelling through workshops and publications. Cyndera is also a certified yoga teacher. She received her bachelor’s degree in English from San Francisco State and a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara.
Financial assistance is available for students receiving tuition assistance at Burke's. Please contact Ron Bannerman for more information.
SEEDLINGS Summer Camp will be billed via TADS, which also handles student tuition. Financial assistance is automatically applied. When registering, simply select Student Account and type in "TADS" when it asks for the number. 

Codes for our sign-out system, Kinderlime, will be sent out with instructions in June. 
In order to receive a full refund on any summer class or camp, cancellations must be received no later than seven days before the class or camp starts.
