Teen Panel: Accepting and Succeeding with Learning Differences January 13, 2012 • 9 am at Burke’s Several alumnae, all with learning differences, return to Burke’s for this Teen Panel. These girls will share their experiences with Burke’s parents, faculty, and students alike. Topics covered during the discussion and Q&A may include: navigating middle school, high school and college; identifying and leveraging support resources; and taking advantage of one’s own strengths to overcome obstacles. Most importantly, this group can speak to surviving the emotional roller coaster ride from diagnosis to acceptance and academic success.
