Dear Burke's Families:

2012 is off to a great start at Burke’s!  Our first Parents’ Association meeting of the New Year featured a presentation by Lower School Head, Donna Hamilton, and a fascinating discussion with Dr. Steven Jones, Ensuring Success in the 21st Century -  practical exercises to help realize the benefits of living, learning and working in a diverse world..  We are looking forward to a presentation from Upper School Head, Rebekah Wolman at our meeting on February 13.  And of course, the Burke’s Dinner Auction, Boogie for Burke's at Bimbo's on Saturday, March 31.  There are many ways to help this critical fundraiser for our school. Please consider underwriting, donating or securing an item.  Mark your calendars.  We look forward to seeing everyone there.

Carpooling
Carpools are a great way to get to know other families within our school community and decrease the number of cars driving to and from school. At the begining of the school year each family at Burke's received a customized email with a list and map of the ten closest Burke's families.
