Burke's Alums Go National in Volleyball Tournament
The volleyball season just got underway on the Burke's campus, but several alumnae were on the court over the summer to represent the United States at the USA High Performance Junior National Volleyball Tournament.
Jaelah Hutchison '11, Kelty Hori '11 and Frances Arnautou '12 all traveled to Tulsa, Oklahoma, the third week of July to participate in the tournament. Jaelah started for the women's A1 red team as the middle blocker, Kelty started for the women's A1 white team as the libero and Frances started for the youth A1 red team as the setter.
At the end of the competition, Jaelah celebrated alongside her red team compatriots as they took the gold, besting the Puerto Rican junior national team. She currently plays for University High School.
