UCSF Chancellor at Burke's

During a recent assembly, Dr. Susan Desmond-Hellmann, Chancellor of the University of California San Francisco, spoke to Burke's Upper School.  Dr. Desmond-Hellmann is the first woman to lead this esteemed university, and our students were energized by her remarks. In addition to sharing thoughts about her own journey into and within science, Dr. Desmond-Hellmann showed the girls videos of three other women doctors and scientists who work at UCSF. It was a fantastic assembly!
