Note: What a day to start Bus-to-School Week! For those few that ventured forth, it was a wet and wild morning.Tomorrow, the Bus-to-School week will resume as planned. If it is mildly raining, our volunteers will venture forth. However, if we have the same winds and quantity of rain, we may have to wait until Thursday.

Look for the #1 California, not the 1 AX or 1 BX (express buses.) The 1 California begins in the Financial District before traversing Pacific Heights, Presidio Heights, and the Richmond. Your daughter can board at any stop along the route. Please note, you can always check nextbus.org for GPS-based next bus arrival time at your neighborhood stop.

Burke's inaugural Bus-to-School week is this week! Do you live along or near the #1 California corridor?
If so, have your daughter ride the bus to school for a day, two days or the week.

We have two "designated" buses, one for Upper School and one for Lower School. On the Upper School bus, we will have one designated parent riding the bus. On the Lower School bus, a parent has volunteered at each of the designated stops to meet the girls, to join them on the bus and to make sure they get off safely at Burke's.
