The Katherine Delmar Burke School encourages summer reading for all students.
Lower School
Below are summer reading lists that our library recommends for students entering first through fourth grades. The library also sponsors a summer reading program, selected by the third grade, and available to students entering second through fourth grades. (The summer reading program is designed to promote independent reading.)

Ticket To Read Summer Reading Program
Students entering second, third and fourth grades are invited to participate in the summer reading program. Students received envelopes that contained eveything they needed for this program, but should back-up materials or information be needed, please click below.
